Why pursue a career in nursing?
Nursing involves caring for individuals and families across their lifespans, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention as well as treatment. Nursing is a profession that provides opportunities for specialization, leadership and decision-making within many different health care settings, at every level from local to international. The nursing profession allows for collaboration with a range of other health-care professionals, in an occupation that confers respect as well as substantial salaries.
Why Laurentian University?

What will I study?
The Laurentian University School of Nursing curriculum combines courses from the Humanities, Sciences and Social Sciences with preparation in the theory and practice of nursing. You will have the opportunity to work with physicians, dieticians, physiotherapists, and members of other health-care disciplines.
